About our project:
Motivation:
To develop a system to get 3D models of deformed/damaged cars and evaluate degree of
damage for insurance purposes
Problem:
Constructing high resolution 3D mesh structures with high-fidelity texture while being
able to accurately reproduce deformations and finer structural elements of specular
objects
Solution:
Image to Mesh reconstruction model
Iterative update model to incorporate information from multiple views
Active Vision system to guide camera position for multiple views
