Poorvi Hebbar<\/strong> (Webpage<\/a> | Linkedin<\/a> | Github<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Poorvi is a\u00a0Masters in Computer Vision<\/a>\u00a0(MSCV) student in the\u00a0Robotics Institute<\/a>\u00a0at Carnegie Mellon University<\/a>, advised by\u00a0Prof. Shubham Tulsiani<\/a>. She is currently working on extending the pipeline to include articulating objects given an RGBD video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She completed her undergraduate education with a Major (with Honors) in Computer Science and Minor in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay<\/a> in 2021. Her experience includes working as a Quantitative Risk Analyst at Goldman Sachs, and interning with the Recommender Systems team at Google Research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yufei Ye<\/strong> (Website<\/a> | Google Scholar<\/a> | Github<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yufei is a PhD student in Robotics Institute<\/a> at Carnegie Mellon University<\/a>, advised by Abhinav Gupta<\/a> and Shubham Tulsiani<\/a>. She is Poorvi’s mentor in the capstone project and helps her with brainstorming and clarifications regarding the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to CMU, she received her Bachelor degree majoring in Computer Science from Tsinghua Universtiy where she worked with Shi-Min Hu<\/a>. Her research mainly focuses on 3D computer vision, especially perceiving everyday’s interactions. She also recently received NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship (2022-23). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Shubham Tulsiani<\/strong> (Website<\/a> | Google Scholar<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Shubham is an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the Robotics Institute<\/a>, where he is a part of the Computer Vision group<\/a>. He is the advisor in this capstone project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is interested in building perception systems that can infer the spatial and physical structure of the world they observe. Prior to joining CMU, he was a Research Scientist at FAIR<\/a>, Pittsburgh working with Abhinav Gupta<\/a>. He previously graduated from UC, Berkeley where he was advised by Jitendra Malik<\/a>, and also frequently collaborated with Alyosha Efros.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
