Taru Rustagi

Taru Rustagi is a graduate student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Vision. He is advised by Professor László A. Jeni at the CUBE Lab.
Prior to CMU, Taru worked at Luminar Technologies, Density Inc., and HELIX RE, where he contributed to applied computer vision, cloud-based LiDAR processing, and real-time 3D visualization systems. He brings over four years of industry experience in machine learning, computer vision, and scalable AI systems.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was advised by Professor Amitabh Varshney.
Juntao Zhang

Juntao (Jordan) Zhang is a graduate student in the M.S. in Computer Vision program at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Professor László A. Jeni at the CUBE Lab. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests are image generative models, diffusion alignment, and 3D Gaussian Splatting.

Prof. László A. Jeni

Professor László A. Jeni is an Assistant Research Professor in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie-Mellon University. His research interests are in Computer Vision, Digital Humans, and Computational Behavior Science, specifically in areas of modeling, understanding, and synthesizing human motion and behavior using diverse sensors. Currently, he is directing the CUBE Lab.

Koichiro Niinuma

Koichiro Niinuma, PhD, is a research manager at Fujitsu Research of America, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. His research focuses on developing computer vision technologies for human behavior understanding, affective computing, and biometrics. With over 50 patents in the U.S. and internationally, he has developed technologies integrated into various Fujitsu products, including fingerprint authentication and continuous authentication. He received his M.S. degree from Kyoto University and his PhD from the University of Tsukuba.
Mose Sakashita

Mose is a Senior Researcher at Fujitsu Research in Pittsburgh. He earned his PhD in Information Science at Cornell under François Guimbretière. During his internship at Microsoft Research, he worked with Andy Wilson, Bala Kumaravel, and Nicolai Marquardt on a NeRF-based collaborative system.
