He graduated from IIT Delhi majoring in Electrical Engineering. He worked on AI based Multimedia Compression, Facial Recognition, mobile 3D Reconstruction, mobile SLAM and Augmented Reality at Samsung Research prior to joining CMU.  He works on ML aspect of Neural Synthetic Wavelength Interferometry <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ioannis Gkioulekas (Advisor)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cs.cmu.edu\/~igkioule\/index_files\/photo.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ioannis is  an Assistant Professor in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ri.cmu.edu\/\">Robotics Institute<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmu.edu\/\">Carnegie Mellon University<\/a>. He received his PhD from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seas.harvard.edu\/\">School of Engineering and Applied Sciences<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.harvard.edu\/\">Harvard University<\/a>, where his advisor was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eecs.harvard.edu\/~zickler\/\">Todd Zickler<\/a>.
